Lumos Paediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary clinic in Box Hill, Melbourne, providing therapy and assessments for children and young people aged 0–18. Our clinicians work with families on goals for communication, emotional wellbeing, learning and everyday participation.

If a Healthy Kids Check, another review or your own observations raise a concern, talk with our Box Hill team. We can discuss developmental screening, assessment and early support, including parent coaching, and help you consider a suitable next step. You do not need to know which service to ask for.

Parent coaching and early support
Build practical strategies with a therapist around communication, play, emotional regulation, mealtimes, self-care and everyday routines. Parent-only consultations or child-inclusive coaching can be shaped around your child’s strengths and your family’s priorities.
A parent consultation or developmental screening can help you understand concerns and decide on a useful next step. These services are available through our clinic. Thriving Kids eligibility and program funding are determined separately by government.

School readiness, handwriting, SOS feeding and social skills groups. Secret Agent Society (SAS) is planned for Term 1 or 2, 2027, if enough families are interested.

Where is the clinic?
Suite 2/10 Ellingworth Parade, Box Hill VIC 3128. Saturday appointments are available from 9:00am to 6:00pm, by appointment only. See our contact page for directions and clinic hours.
Which funding options can we use?
We welcome private clients and accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding. Lumos is not currently a registered NDIS provider and cannot accept NDIA-managed funding. Please contact our team to discuss your funding arrangements.
Which languages are available?
Services are available in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, subject to clinician availability. Tell us your preferred language when enquiring. Learn about our Chinese-language services 中文服务.
How do your services relate to Thriving Kids?
Parent coaching, early developmental support and groups are available through our existing private clinic services. Lumos does not represent itself as an approved or government-funded Thriving Kids provider. For program eligibility and funded access, check the Australian Government’s Thriving Kids information. Our team can discuss current clinic services and funding options with you.
